We operate exclusively as a wholesale supplier to the sign industry, providing an extensive range including post materials, multi-panel signage systems, wayfinding solutions, traffic control products, custom brackets, dimensional lettering, and specialized fabrications.

Built one customer at a time
What began as a one-person operation in a family garage has grown into one of the nation’s most trusted wholesale sign manufacturers. Through it all, we have never changed the principles that built us: keeping production in-house and treating repeat customers like family.
Most of our work still comes from sign shops we've supplied for decades. The signs you see installed across communities, campuses, and roadways throughout North America, including decorative street signs, monument entrances, wayfinding directionals, and dimensional letters, are quietly produced for the trade out of our shop on Industrial Drive.
We've spent four decades getting the details right, from utilizing heavy-wall aluminum that holds up where lighter material warps to providing finish work that survives a Southern summer. When sign shops bring us a tough specification or a tight deadline, our answer is almost always yes.

- Late 1970s
A start in the garage
Teenager John Iyoob begins making signs in his family garage in Charlotte, soon launching Signs Etc. — the start of a four-decade career in the sign industry.
- 1990s
Charlotte landmarks
Signs Etc. grows into one of Charlotte's leading sign manufacturers, producing work for Paramount's Carowinds, Ballantyne Commons, and major regional homebuilders.

Ornamental Post & Panel founded
John Iyoob launches Ornamental Post & Panel in Pineville, NC, focused exclusively on built-to-order aluminum sign components for the wholesale sign trade.
